Manager, Network Infrastructure

Location: Based in Austin, TX, with travel to Rockdale, TX as needed

What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and develop network engineering resources while remaining hands-on with complex technical work.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable network architectures across corporate, manufacturing, engineering, and data center environments.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security events, and lead complex troubleshooting and incident escalation.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, site deployments, hardware refreshes, migrations, and infrastructure expansion projects.
• Maintain network standards, documentation, configurations, operating procedures, monitoring, reporting, and disaster-recovery plans.
• Coordinate with systems, security, engineering, software, operations, SCADA/OT teams, service providers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent enterprise network experience.
• Experience leading network or NetOps teams in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise networking, routing protocols, switching, and network design.
• Experience administering firewalls, wireless networks, routers, switches, WAN connectivity, site-to-site VPNs, internet circuits, and secure remote-access solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewall policy management, access control, monitoring, incident response, performance analysis, capacity planning, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or multi-site enterprise environments.
• Experience with network automation, scripting, and configuration-management tools.
• CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet Network Security Expert, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation certification.
