Accountant (MedTech)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Partner with the Controller to strengthen month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Identify discrepancies and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
• Support regulatory reporting, including surveys, franchise taxes, and annual reports.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card transactions.
• Maintain vendor records, the accounts payable inbox, and the finance calendar while resolving employee and vendor inquiries.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable workflows.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines.
• A CPA candidate or bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
