What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, and final testing of manufacturing equipment, systems, components, and subassemblies.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle time and other production results.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer, vendor, and supplier requirements.
• Plan production capacity, monitor manufacturing processes, and improve data collection and real-time status reporting.
• Drive Lean, safety, and quality improvements while implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

• Understanding of procedures and concepts within the relevant job family and basic knowledge of related functions.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using judgment.
• Experience with employee training, performance management, development plans, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.
• Work location: Austin, Texas, United States.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
