Director, People Partners - Product, Design & Engineering

Location: San Francisco, California, United States hub, or remote within the United States with frequent travel to San Francisco. In-person onboarding is required.

Salary: Annual base salary of $235,000–$317,000 USD.

What you will do

• Serve as the strategic People Partner to the CTO and Chief Design Officer, advising on leadership, organization, and team growth.
• Lead and develop a team of People Partners supporting Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Lead People Programs including organizational design, resource management, performance management, and change management during rapid scaling and reorganization.
• Drive performance, calibration, talent review, and succession planning cycles while improving quality and consistency.
• Partner with People and cross-functional teams to execute the People strategy across Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Use data and insights to measure impact, advise leaders, and scale the People Partner function and operating model.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a People Partner leader in high-growth environments, including managing a team and partnering directly with executive leaders.
• Experience supporting Product, Design, and/or Engineering organizations, with fluency in how technical and design teams operate.
• Strong business and technical acumen, including the ability to build deep product and technical knowledge and understand how the business operates.
• Demonstrated ability to challenge and advise senior leaders and influence decisions and outcomes.
• Ability to remain grounded and resilient in a rapidly changing environment.
