Licensed Practical Nurse- PRN- Decatur, AL

Location: Decatur, Alabama, United States; onsite clinic role

Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a concierge physician with clinical and administrative functions.
• Interview patients, assess their needs, document findings in the electronic medical record, and report changes to the physician.
• Perform venipuncture, basic laboratory testing, injections, EKGs, and other office-based procedures.
• Assist with medical procedures and operate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including oxygen therapy and EKG equipment.
• Maintain patient flow, handle calls and messages, coordinate referrals and specialist visits, and process medical record requests.
• Keep examination rooms clean, disinfected, and stocked while supporting a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma and graduation from a formal practical nursing training program.
• Current nursing license to practice in Alabama.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to administer injections, complete EKGs, perform office-based procedures, and conduct phlebotomy.
• Exceptional phlebotomy skills; 2+ years of LPN experience, preferably in primary care, are preferred.
