Controls Technician - Integrations (HVAC/Controls)

Location: Mobile, Alabama, United States. Field-based role with work conducted on-site at customer locations.

Salary: $21.89–$40.34 per hour.

What you will do

• Commission, program, configure graphics and communications links, test, troubleshoot, and service integration projects.
• Support the development of integration standards, templates, reusable system components, and standardized system architectures.
• Lead multi-vendor system integration across diverse equipment platforms and ensure systems meet defined sequences of operation.
• Document point-to-point verification, sequence-of-operations validation, and project closeout requirements.
• Serve as the direct customer contact, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Coordinate on-site installations and repairs, maintain safety and asset accountability, and work overtime or occasional overnight stays as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in HVAC or controls.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work on-site at customer locations and maintain high safety standards.

Nice to have

• Technical school education or formal technical training.
• Niagara certification.
• Previous experience with DDC control systems.
