Location: Fully remote roles are available only to candidates residing in the listed U.S. states at the time of hire: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, D.C. Candidates within commuting distance of the New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices follow a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.

What you will do
- Lead Business of Health clients across managed care, benefits, care delivery, hospitals and health systems, value-based care, mental health, and related sectors.
- Develop integrated communications strategies, messaging, positioning, executive visibility, thought leadership, and storytelling programs.
- Build healthcare and business media relationships and lead proactive, research-based, data-driven, executive-led, and trend-based pitching.
- Translate complex healthcare business, operational, policy, reimbursement, and industry topics into accessible narratives for business, clinical, healthcare, and consumer audiences.
- Oversee multiple account teams, budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, timelines, and client delivery.
- Manage 3–4 direct reports, mentor account teams, support new business initiatives, and contribute to agency marketing and industry events.
Requirements
- 7+ years of PR, communications, or marketing experience in an agency environment.
- Experience in healthcare, health services, managed care, health plans, benefits, care delivery, hospitals and health systems, value-based care, mental health, or related organizations.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communications programs that deliver measurable results.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare business and media landscape, with exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and cross-functional teams, with demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members.
- Must reside in one of the approved U.S. locations at the time of hire.
