Location: Fully remote, but applicants must reside and work in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WV. The role requires 40 hours per week during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Changes to the working location require pre-approval from People Operations. Employees may use the Portland, OR headquarters.
Salary: $80,000–$115,000 annually, with potential equity and additional benefits.

What you will do
- Build journalist and industry media relationships, develop proactive pitches, manage press inquiries, and track media coverage.
- Draft, edit, and coordinate press releases and supporting announcement materials.
- Maintain the company LinkedIn presence, including publishing cadence and content development.
- Manage speaking and awards calendars, research opportunities, prepare submissions, and coordinate executive support.
- Coordinate monthly All Hands meetings, leadership messaging, the COO newsletter, and other company-wide communications.
- Maintain a communications calendar covering internal and external milestones and bring market and media context into planning.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in communications, PR, or media relations.
- Experience working in an agency or lean in-house communications team.
- Strong writing skills across media pitches, internal announcements, and social content.
- Excellent operational discipline and the ability to manage multiple workstreams without missed details.
- Curiosity about news, media strategy, and healthcare or health technology; mission alignment is required.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

- Healthcare or health technology experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
