Medical Billing Specialist - Spain (m/f/d) (MedTech)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office, with more office days potentially required during the Spanish market launch.

hirify.global is a medical device manufacturer developing the Omnipod insulin management system to simplify diabetes care.

What you will do

• Process timely and accurate invoices for incoming sales orders and relevant payers.
• Work closely with the Customer Care team, payers, and third-party service providers.
• Verify that all documentation required for invoicing and collections is recorded in customer and ERP systems.
• Contact payers regarding invoice and collection issues, directly or through service providers.
• Provide the International Accounting team with updates on invoicing and collection status.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training and initial work experience in finance or a medical environment.
• Experience in customer service and professional communication with payers and other stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the Spanish healthcare system, reimbursement channels, prescriptions for medical aids, and medical billing.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; Spanish speaking and good to fluent English.
• Strong attention to detail, data-consciousness, self-motivation, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.
• Experience with healthcare insurers, clinics, or medical supply stores.
