Accounting Specialist, Accounts Receivable (Spanish-speaking)

What you will do

• Manage collections for an assigned customer portfolio, follow up on overdue invoices, monitor accounts receivable aging, and escalate credit risks.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, disputes, billing issues, and account reconciliation differences.
• Manage customer invoicing, credit notes, billing adjustments, cancellations, corrections, and customer master data.
• Work with Sales, Account Management, Finance, and customers to resolve commercial and administrative payment issues.
• Prepare receivables and collections reporting, support cash collection forecasts, and assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain internal controls, support audits, and improve billing and accounts receivable processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or a similar accounting role.
• Hands-on experience with customer collections, AR aging, account reconciliations, and payment discrepancies.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and general accounting principles.
• Fluent Spanish, written and spoken, is required.
• Professional fluency in English, written and spoken, is required for communication across teams and regions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and experience with an ERP system.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite.
