What you will do
- Monitor, review, and process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including mergers, splits, rights issues, tender offers, and warrants.
- Oversee dividends, interest, withholding, tax treatment, and cost-basis adjustments.
- Manage event announcements, elections, allocations, entitlements, reconciliations, and related deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients, custodians, DTCC PBS/CA Web/AIP, and proxy agents to collect and submit elections.
- Implement maker-checker controls, exception dashboards, KPIs, and audit-ready evidence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on workflow modernization, UAT, straight-through processing, platform enhancements, vendor relationships, and process documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in brokerage, clearing, or custody operations focused on corporate actions, dividends, or income processing.
- Strong knowledge of DTCC PBS and mandatory and voluntary event types, timelines, market standards, tax, and cost-basis implications.
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience.
- Series 99 required or obtainable within 90 days; Series 7 preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or another coding language, plus practical use of AI in daily functions.
- Strong communication, ownership, resilience, assurance, and creative problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with FIS and XSP/Phase3/XSP CA platform.
- Experience with alternatives or OCC option adjustments.
- People leadership experience.
