IT Business Analyst (HR Systems)

Location: Remote within the United States; office location listed in Calabasas, California

Salary: $73,600–$110,400 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Oversee the daily operation and performance of enterprise software applications.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and system requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Partner with technology teams, business units, project managers, solution architects, sponsors, system owners, and end users to define scope and resolve issues.
• Analyze application problems, determine root causes, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Support application procurement, vendor management, budgeting, quality control, contract negotiation, and software research.
• Plan and conduct system, integration, and customer acceptance testing, including post-implementation support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting software applications and software development; the posting lists requirements ranging from 2–3 to 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and Access.
• Experience with retail applications, retail IT practices, project management methodologies, and software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance practices, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, research software-related issues, and work occasional nights and weekends as required.
