Accounting Clerk

What you will do

• Reconcile bank accounts, purchasing card transactions, and returned checks; post and balance general or subsidiary ledgers.
• Process payments, invoices, checks, deposits, and banking wire transfers while ensuring accurate documentation and coding.
• Upload sales invoices, prepare invoices for processing, and verify customer and supplier information.
• Support monthly closings and annual reporting by compiling financial data and resolving discrepancies.
• Review and release purchase orders in the Zycus procure-to-pay platform and manage office supply purchases.
• Provide office administration support, including mail, calls, visitors, records retention, access badges, communications, and conference room scheduling.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or publicly traded company.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with electronic workflow and document management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality; additional security screening may apply for access to export-controlled information.
