Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $125,300–$165,000 annually, plus bonus

Designs and manufactures sensors, instrumentation, and control solutions for heavily regulated and mission-critical markets, including nuclear, aerospace, and oil and gas.

What you will do

• Manage daily and monthly accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Lead financial reporting for month-end, year-end, forecasts, budgets, and external reporting in accordance with USGAAP.
• Report financial results to business unit and divisional finance leadership and explain variances to forecasts.
• Oversee budgeting, expense control, KPI implementation, and financial performance analysis.
• Establish and monitor accounting policies, procedures, governance, and internal controls.
• Lead and develop the finance team, continuous improvement initiatives, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university or college.
• At least 10 years of finance experience, including comprehensive accounting, cash flow modeling, and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, analytical problem-solving, and process improvement.
• Strong leadership, people management, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certification such as an MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Experience using Syteline.
