Senior Service Technician - Rental (HVAC)

Location: Field-based work at customer locations near Basingstoke, Hampshire; candidates should be within approximately 45 minutes of the RG22 area.

What you will do

• Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair rental chillers, air conditioners, heaters, generators, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in the field.
• Test equipment to confirm performance and readiness.
• Complete service documentation and maintenance records.
• Provide customers with technical support and guidance on equipment operation.
• Follow safety and service standards while supporting the training of junior technicians.

Requirements

• Several years of HVAC or related field-service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors or in variable site conditions, travel frequently, and support overtime, weekends, or on-call work.
