Engineering Intern (Fullstack)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid, with full-time work in the NYC office for 12–16 weeks between May and August 2026

Compensation: $2,000 per week for undergraduate interns and co-ops; $2,600 per week for graduate-track interns and co-ops, plus a housing stipend

What you will do

• Build and ship product features used by farmers and agribusinesses.
• Own a full-stack feature in the core product, breaking the work into granular tasks and managing prioritization of incoming issues.
• Improve engineering infrastructure, development processes, and the codebase alongside experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with Product to prioritize feature ideas using insights from customers and the target audience.
• Participate in engineering meetings, review peer code, and share technical recommendations.
• Develop an understanding of farm finance, agricultural operations, sustainability, and customer needs.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expected graduation between Winter 2026 and Spring/Summer 2027.
• Available for full-time work in the NYC office for 12–16 weeks between May and August 2026.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to handle ambiguous problems and create elegant technical solutions.
• Interest in building software that improves sustainability and profitability in agriculture and other natural resource industries.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, or Next.js.
• Experience building and shipping complex software projects.
• Experience in agriculture.
