Chief Technology Officer, DNS (AI)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States. Hybrid schedule with required on-site work Tuesdays and Thursdays; remote work on other days as business needs allow. Working hours operate within the Eastern time zone, generally 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern.

Salary: $224,000–$320,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Defense & National Security business.
• Build executive relationships with government customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead delivery excellence, operational performance, customer satisfaction, financial results, and portfolio health.
• Provide technical oversight for enterprise Big Data and AI programs and mission engineering programs involving C4ISR and Electronic Warfare.
• Lead Chief Solutions Architects and Strategists across cloud modernization, AI, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with Growth on pipeline development, capture strategies, proposals, M&A assessment, and strategic customer pursuits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience supporting federal government customers.
• Experience leading large technology modernization, systems integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with business growth, customer engagement, delivery leadership, and financial accountability.
• Executive-level customer relationships across DoD or DHS agencies.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, DevSecOps, Agile delivery, cybersecurity, AI, C4ISR, Vision AI, Spectrum, and Electronic Warfare solutions.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Platform One, Cloud One, Kessel Run, or other DoD modernization initiatives.
• Experience leading high-growth organizations in the GovCon market.
