C#/.NET Developer

Location: Remote for candidates anywhere in Latin America, with full overlap during Mountain Time business hours

What you will do

• Maintain and modernize a Windows desktop application used by field teams to capture and organize digitized historical records.
• Fix user-reported defects and investigate application issues across modern and legacy code.
• Resolve nightly and automated build failures using Visual Studio and MSBuild.
• Support deployments and new version releases.
• Collaborate with the security team to remediate issues and align the application with organizational security standards.

Requirements

• Strong C# and .NET 8.0 experience, including advanced C# features and nullable reference types.
• Experience with WPF, XAML, data binding, styles, custom controls, and MVVM using CommunityToolkit.Mvvm.
• Experience with Entity Framework 6, database-first development, LINQ, DbContext, and migrations.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, LocalDB, database design, and query and performance optimization.
• Experience with Autofac dependency injection, interface-driven application design, debugging, profiling, and build troubleshooting.
• Availability for full overlap with Mountain Time business hours and residence in Latin America.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions and CI/CD build pipelines.
• Application security and remediation experience.
• Experience modernizing legacy .NET applications.
• Familiarity with C or Java codebases.
