Pharmacy Executive - Pharmacy Enterprise

Location: Virtual Office; regular travel to client sites is required

Salary: $135,200–$236,600 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Consult with pharmacists and clinical leaders to develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs that reduce costs while maintaining or improving patient care quality.
• Analyze pharmaceutical purchases, conduct prescriber interviews, and identify opportunities for formulary management, product standardization, and improved pricing.
• Develop therapeutic interchange, automatic interchange, and IV-to-oral conversion programs.
• Create and maintain standardized consulting documents, clinical tools, calculators, protocols, and order sets.
• Assess pharmacy and medication management programs across hospitals, infusion centers, ambulatory surgery centers, and provider clinics.
• Develop project plans, support implementation, achieve contractual value targets, and present recommendations to senior health system executives.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Seven or more years of health system and/or hospital pharmacy leadership experience required.
• Relevant acute care hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Board of Pharmacy registration required.
• ASHP-approved pharmacy residency preferred; a business master’s degree, 340B experience, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee experience are advantageous.
• Regular and expeditious travel throughout the year is required to meet client needs and timelines.
