Vice President, Pharmacy

Location: La Grange, Kentucky, United States; remote and hybrid work options are available.

Base salary: $150,000–$225,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead and scale a pharmacy operations organization with managers and directors, owning team performance, culture, and continuous improvement.
• Build a high-accountability, high-support culture through coaching, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, eliminate non-value-adding steps, and redesign manual processes across pharmacy operations.
• Set productivity and performance targets for recovery outcomes, case throughput, and outbound contact activity using operational data.
• Partner with Software Engineering and technology teams to define requirements and deliver tooling or automation improvements.
• Lead strategic initiatives end to end and represent operational priorities in executive, client, sales, and company-wide discussions.

Requirements

• Progressive leadership experience in pharmacy operations, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare claims, payment integrity, or a related operational domain.
• Experience managing managers and building consistent, well-documented performance management processes.
• Demonstrated operational improvements in productivity, quality, recovery, or cost through process redesign.
• Ability to work directly with operational systems and data to identify errors, root causes, and inefficiencies.
• Experience partnering with technology teams to deliver tooling or automation improvements.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to senior leaders and external clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmacy claims review, prescription drug recovery, or PBM audits.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims or pharmacy benefits regulations, reimbursement mechanics, claims auditing, coordination of benefits, and compensation structures.
• Experience in accounts receivable management, overpayment recovery, or revenue cycle management.
• Experience scaling operations during rapid growth or significant process change.
• Clinical pharmacy credentials such as PharmD, RPh, or CPhT.
