Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Hybrid role based in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States, with 20% travel across Western Washington, Eastern Washington, and Alaska to meet clients.

Salary: $123,200–$209,400 per year.

What you will do

• Serve as a pharmacy subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and employer groups.
• Develop and present client-specific pharmacy experience and trend reporting.
• Evaluate benefit setups, identify gaps and opportunities, and support sales and pharmacy RFP activities.
• Monitor market trends, drug pipelines, pharmacy product solutions, and healthcare issues to inform benefit management and product development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on clinical, analytics, benefit, and product strategies.
• Communicate complex pharmacy marketplace topics and recommendations to varied audiences.

Requirements

• Pharmacist degree.
• Active United States pharmacist license in good standing.
• At least two years of pharmacist experience or completion of accredited clinical pharmacy or clinical residency training.
• Knowledge of drug utilization management, including formulary and drug-use-criteria development.
• Knowledge of drug information procedures and reference sourcing.
• Ability to manage multiple complex concurrent projects, communicate effectively, build relationships, work independently and collaboratively, and use Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as PharmD, MBA, MHA, or MPH, or equivalent experience.
• Managed care or retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience delivering medication therapy management services directly to patients.
• Knowledge of core medication therapy management services.
