What you will do
- Architect end-to-end avionics hardware systems from concept through certification and production.
- Lead airborne electronic hardware development activities in compliance with DO-254.
- Design and implement FPGA, ASIC, board-level, and embedded hardware solutions.
- Define hardwareβFPGA and softwareβFPGA interfaces and assess COTS use under AC 20-152A.
- Coordinate with systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
- Drive architecture reviews, trade studies, requirements traceability, verification planning, validation, and certification audit support.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience with DO-254 certification programs.
- Strong experience in avionics hardware development and architecting complex systems across the product lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Airborne Electronic Hardware, FPGA and digital hardware development, hardware/software interfacing, and systems engineering methodologies.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, including the ability to mentor engineering teams.
- U.S. citizenship is required; dual citizenship must be disclosed.
