Manufacturing Purchasing Agent

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, USA; hybrid schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $29.00–$35.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Track orders and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• Maintain procurement and supplier records and support supplier performance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and ensure purchasing activities follow company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sourcing, inventory management, and supplier performance metrics.
• APICS, ISM, or another relevant supply chain certification.
