Reinsurance Contract Analyst (Reinsurance)

Salary: $92,800–$121,800 per year

What you will do

• Support business, operational, financial, and legal activities related to reinsurance agreements.
• Draft, review, and coordinate agreements, amendments, and related documentation with Legal and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate communications with reinsurers and business partners to support timely agreement execution.
• Conduct competitor research, counterparty diligence, trend monitoring, business analysis, and senior management reporting.
• Support compliance, audit, risk, and cybersecurity requests by gathering inputs and preparing materials.
• Maintain governance documentation, trackers, templates, reporting obligations, and RFP materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma with 7 years of related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the life, health, or annuity insurance industry.
• 5+ years of research and analysis experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong written communication and the ability to turn analysis into practical business insights.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of reinsurance experience.
• 2+ years of contract drafting experience.
• Experience with negotiation.
• Experience using AI tools for contract analysis, business analysis, process improvement, requirements gathering, and data-driven decision-making.
• Paralegal or document management qualifications.
