Integration Engineering Manager (MuleSoft)

Location: London, United Kingdom. The role is based in the UK and supports collaboration across the UK, EMEA, U.S., and global markets.

What you will do

• Own the AI Enablement Integration roadmap and align MuleSoft capabilities with enterprise AI strategy, business priorities, and platform governance.
• Lead the integration capability that enables AI agents, copilots, automation platforms, and intelligent workflows to securely access and act on enterprise systems and data.
• Oversee the design and implementation of system, process, experience, and agent-ready APIs, MCP servers, governed API products, and reusable integration services.
• Lead and mentor a globally distributed MuleSoft engineering team and coordinate delivery with AI/ML, Salesforce, Data, Security, SRE, Enterprise Architecture, and platform teams.
• Oversee CloudHub 2.0, Flex Gateway, API Manager, Anypoint Monitoring, Exchange, and CI/CD practices for AI-enabled integrations.
• Establish standards for reliability, scalability, observability, auditability, policy enforcement, incident readiness, and production operations.

Requirements

• Experience leading MuleSoft engineering, API integration, and enterprise integration capabilities.
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, AI Gateway, Agent Fabric, MCP, API-led connectivity, and event-driven integration.
• Ability to design secure agent-ready APIs, MCP-enabled tools, multi-system orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams while collaborating across architecture, security, data, product, Salesforce, SRE, and operations functions.
• Knowledge of identity, consent, access control, data minimisation, rate limiting, observability, auditability, and regulated healthcare requirements.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
