Senior Financial Accountant (Financial Accounting): Executing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, close activities, and audit support with an accent on GAAP compliance, variance analysis, and accurate financial data. Location: DC-Washington-TWP Headquarters, United States; on-site five days a week
Salary: $85,100–$127,700 annual, with potential bonus or incentive eligibility.

What you will do
- Execute general ledger functions, including journal entries and month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and conduct income statement and balance sheet variance analyses.
- Interpret and apply GAAP standards in collaboration with Financial Accounting management.
- Maintain accounting process documentation and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare schedules and supporting data for financial statements, tax and compliance filings, and audits.
- Support interim and year-end audits, special projects, analyses, and reporting requests while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- At least five years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
- Expertise in general ledger operations and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and Power Pivot.
- Ability to prepare and analyze complex financial statements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- CPA or CA designation, or CPA candidacy.
- Experience with Alteryx, Oracle, Hyperion Smartview, BlackLine, Salesforce, Bloomberg Tax and Accounting Leases & Fixed Assets, or SAP.
