Senior Accountant (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support the General Ledger Finance Team and deliver financial accounting results for the Arrowhead Specialty Center of Excellence.
• Lead and support staff accountants while promoting effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Perform full-cycle month-end close activities, including monthly close reporting and journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet, bank, and other accounts, and review and approve reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports using data analytics and maintain accurate transaction documentation.
• Support internal and external audit interactions and comply with established internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of financial accounting, data entry, and data management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Four to seven years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience preferred.
• CPA designation or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with Workday Financials and insurance brokerage preferred.
