Senior Accountant

What you will do

• Support the General Ledger Finance Team in delivering financial accounting results.
• Lead and support staff accountants and perform full-cycle month-end close activities.
• Prepare, review, and approve monthly, quarterly, and yearly journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet and other accounts, including reviewing and approving bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports using data analytics and maintain accurate transaction documentation.
• Support interactions with internal and external auditors and follow established internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four to seven years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of financial accounting, data entry, and data management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Workday Financials preferred.
• Insurance brokerage experience and pursuit of a CPA designation or equivalent certification preferred.
