Senior Cloud Platforms Engineer (Azure)

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, manage, and maintain native toolsets for automated operational processes in multi-cloud environments.
• Configure and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and integrations with Azure, Artifactory, automated testing tools, Octopus, Jenkins, Pulumi, and other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Build automation frameworks that support fully automated code deployments across application and infrastructure environments.
• Monitor cloud deployments, application performance, pipelines, and platform environments while troubleshooting delivery issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, security, DevOps, and Agile Product teams to improve platform capabilities and engineering experiences.
• Implement automated security controls, governance processes, compliance validations, and configuration requirements, and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related technical role.
• Software development experience with Java, C#, or Python and knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Experience with service-oriented applications and cloud-based services, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Relevant degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, and HTTP networking protocols.
• Experience with open-source technologies, software development, and systems engineering.
• Azure Architect, DevOps, Administrator, or another cloud-related certification.
