Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines across multiple applications and environments using Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, templates, and scripting.
• Support the migration, operation, and optimization of workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service and other cloud-native platforms.
• Implement secure and scalable Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and automate repetitive operational processes, including AI-assisted automation.
• Improve release management, deployment governance, production delivery, observability, and operational visibility using Datadog.
• Collaborate with engineering, SRE, security, QA, architecture, cloud infrastructure, and operations teams to improve reliability, incident response, performance, security, and cloud costs.
• Lead technical initiatives through production rollout and handover, contribute to platform standards and documentation, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, reusable templates, release automation, repositories, and artifacts.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably AKS, and containerization with Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages, plus experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Understanding of observability, incident response, Git, build automation, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale AKS environments, KEDA, autoscaling, and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with Datadog APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, RUM, Logs, or Synthetic Monitoring.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux, secrets management, CI/CD security, and least-privilege access.
• Experience with Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, distributed systems, mobile CI/CD, or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
