Sr. Specialist, Advisor Services Alternative Investment Services

Location: On-site in Westlake, Texas, United States

Salary: USD $65,000–$75,000 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Support internal and external clients with complex alternative investments through phone and electronic channels.
• Partner with Advisor Services Sales, Service, Advisor Family Office, Operations, and registered investment advisors.
• Serve as a central point of contact for alternative investment questions and service needs.
• Educate clients, prospects, and business partners on regulations, legislation, exemptions, filings, and Schwab’s alternative investment processes and policies.
• Provide timely, accurate phone and email support to improve the client experience and promote retention.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain policies and concepts clearly and concisely.
• Problem-resolution, collaboration, consensus-building, and persuasion skills in a matrixed organization.
• Sound business judgment and the ability to identify and communicate business risks.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and time and resource management.
• Ability to work on-site in Westlake, Texas.

Nice to have

• At least 5 years of experience in operations or client service.
• Experience with alternative investment types, structures, and related documentation.
• Outstanding client service and a one-call-resolution mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to embrace change and innovation.
