Senior Associate, Alternative Investment Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas or Jacksonville, Florida

What you will do

• Prioritize work, guide complex workflows, and promote accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with wealth management clients and serve as a point of contact for service and issue resolution.
• Communicate discrepancies, timelines, and platform updates while translating complex alternatives data into actionable insights.
• Process and validate alternative investment data, including capital calls, distributions, PCAPs, and reporting inputs.
• Coordinate client onboarding with internal teams and fund managers to support setup and integration.
• Identify data quality risks and anomalies, partnering with cross-functional teams on resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, fund administration, or alternative investment operations.
• Working knowledge of fund accounting, commitment-based vehicles, fund of funds, capital calls, recallable distributions, and PCAPs.
• Strong Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, SUMIF, and VLOOKUP, with comfort working with large datasets and identifying anomalies.
• Strong client-facing communication, organization, prioritization, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Black Diamond, Salesforce, or alternative investment data aggregation tools.
• Ability to read and interpret PCAPs or distribution notices.
