Strategic Sourcing Manager (IT & Information Security)

Location: Onsite at the Milpitas Office, California; secondary location: Irvine Office, California

Salary: $126,300–$214,700 per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management across IT hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, information security, AI technologies, infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, managed services, and professional services.
• Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies aligned with digital transformation, cybersecurity, technology roadmaps, and enterprise priorities.
• Manage complex sourcing initiatives from requirements and strategy through supplier selection, contract negotiation, implementation, and governance.
• Negotiate software licensing, cloud, cybersecurity, hardware, telecommunications, infrastructure, master service, and professional services agreements.
• Advise IT, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and senior business stakeholders on sourcing strategies, supplier management, investments, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive savings, cost avoidance, risk mitigation, supplier performance, contract compliance, executive reporting, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior sourcing professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier management, or technology sourcing.
• Experience leading complex IT and Information Security sourcing initiatives.
• Experience negotiating enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, hardware, telecommunications, infrastructure, and professional services agreements.
• Strong contract negotiation, financial analysis, supplier management, and executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or master's degree in a relevant business, supply chain, information systems, or engineering field.
• CPSM, CSCP, CPM, MCIPS, PMP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in semiconductor, technology, cybersecurity, or large enterprise environments.
• Track record of delivering significant savings, cost avoidance, supplier risk mitigation, and strategic business value.
