Autonomous Truck Test Driver (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Springdale, Arkansas, United States. Local routes with drivers home daily; variable and rotating shifts.

Salary: $27.00–$31.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Safely operate 26–30 ft box trucks and complete autonomous vehicle test runs.
• Monitor diagnostic screens and document software and hardware behavior.
• Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, coordinate vendor repairs, and prevent trucks with unresolved defects from returning to service.
• Escalate risks early and provide clear engineering and maintenance feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional driving experience, including 1+ year operating 26–30 ft box trucks.
• Valid CDL and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Strong safety, ownership, communication, report-writing, and DVIR record-keeping skills.
• Comfort with Samsara ELD, timecard tools, Slack, email, and diagnostic applications.
• Ability to move quickly in confined cab seating and repeatedly mount and dismount trucks using three-point contact.
• Must be available for variable or rotating shifts and pass a background check and drug screening.
