OpenShift DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Mississauga, Canada; onsite participation required

Salary: CAD 80,000–90,000 per year, plus potential additional compensation.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across build, deployment, and release lifecycles.
• Support DevOps tools and resolve build and deployment issues in .NET Core, Angular, MongoDB, and related environments.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, Kubernetes clusters, and Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Manage access provisioning for GitHub, Bitbucket, TFS, and other DevOps tools.
• Support infrastructure migrations, vulnerability patching, compliance activities, and key and certificate management.
• Integrate change management, testing, monitoring, and security practices into DevOps workflows.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting DevOps functions.
• Practical experience with multi-tier microservice applications using .NET, Angular, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift administration, deployment, and application scaling.
• Experience with CI/CD and repository tools including GitHub, Bitbucket, Tekton, Harness, TFS, TeamCity, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Shell, PowerShell, YAML, Artifactory, Maven, NuGet, NUnit, and SonarQube.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience, with strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills.
