Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote - Canada

Salary: CAD 139,000–175,000 per year. Ontario and British Columbia range: CAD 139,500–170,500 per year.

What you will do

• Own parity and scope decisions for migrating customers from the legacy on-premise platform to the cloud solution.
• Build, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap while managing competing priorities and timelines.
• Conduct hands-on customer discovery with repair shops and convert observed workflows into product decisions.
• Translate customer needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and downstream context for engineering, QA, support, and training.
• Define success measures, evaluate outcomes after launch, and take corrective action when the product misses expectations.
• Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, support, and leadership, including exploring practical AI capabilities and training internal teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with end-to-end product ownership.
• Experience making and defending prioritization and scope decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with legacy modernization or platform migration, ideally from on-premise to cloud, including customer-impact and parity decisions.
• Hands-on experience conducting customer discovery in customer environments.
• Ability to write strong user stories that anticipate downstream stakeholder needs.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to use AI tools in the product workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive repair software or an adjacent industry.
• Familiarity with Jira, Aha!, and modern AI tools.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience, plus Pragmatic Marketing certification or similar.
