MEP CAD/BIM Designer (MEP BIM)

Location: On-site in San Jose, California, USA. Minimal travel to local sites may be required.

Salary: $32–$48 USD per hour, plus performance-based bonuses and equity participation.

What you will do

• Assist engineers with the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Generate complete construction drawings according to company standards.
• Set up project files and document management systems.
• Coordinate design work with multiple disciplines and departments.
• Verify field conditions and take site measurements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or trade school certification in drafting and design or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 or newer, MEP Revit modeling, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to prioritize requests.
• Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, take ownership of assignments, and collaborate with different departments.
