Senior Guidewire Developer - US - Remote

Location: Hybrid in the United States; required to be in the office during the first week or orientation, with potential intermittent client travel. Candidates must reside in AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI, or Washington, DC.

Salary: $115,000–$150,000 USD annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentives.

What you will do

• Lead development and configuration of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for personal and commercial insurance lines.
• Design and implement integrations and platform extensions using Guidewire Cloud best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee coding standards and development quality.
• Troubleshoot complex configuration and integration issues through root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end implementations within established timelines.
• Develop technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, including cloud implementations.
• Advanced expertise in Guidewire configuration, integrations, data models, and product model design.
• Proficiency in Gosu and Core Java.
• Experience supporting multiple insurance lines, such as Personal Auto, Home, Commercial Auto, BOP, or Workers’ Compensation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must reside in an approved US location. Visa sponsorship is not available.
