Location: Hybrid position in the United States, located in Quantico, Virginia

Salary: $165,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, code, test, maintain, and modify software applications and modules supporting the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
• Develop applications using PL/SQL, C++, Visual Basic, ABAP, Java, and related programming tools.
• Provide patches, upgrades, and maintenance for existing systems and operational programs.
• Analyze system inputs, outputs, information flows, hardware and software requirements, and alternative solutions.
• Participate in deployment planning and code reviews while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
• Write and update program documentation, operating instructions, and user guides.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with a high school education, or commensurate experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience designing and coding software applications according to specifications.
• Experience maintaining operational programs and procedures.
• Ability to analyze system capabilities, programming techniques, controls, and data acquisition requirements.

Nice to have

• Expert knowledge of reading and writing PL/SQL code.
• Knowledge of the NCIS Case Management System application.
• Experience working on Department of the Navy networks.
