Worksite Benefits Consultant I

Location: Portland, OR, United States; travel required 50–70%

Salary: $90,000 annually, plus a target bonus incentive of $35,000 annually, subject to annual review

What you will do

• Consult with agents to develop successful agencies, increase revenue, and support profitable growth.
• Develop new business in educator, state agency, and first responder markets.
• Teach and reinforce repeatable sales processes, business planning, and growth strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars in school buildings and use virtual tools to support sales access and success.
• Assess agent performance, identify gaps, create corrective action plans, and end engagements when required.
• Recruit and onboard agents, open new school buildings, coordinate leads, and manage relationships with state and local associations.

Requirements

• Life and Health License required.
• Business degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of successful field or agency experience.
• Experience with sales processes, business planning, agent installation, recruiting, and training.
• Ability to travel 50–70%.
