Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite

Salary: $275,000–$350,000 annual total compensation, including base salary, annual bonus incentive, and new hire equity.

What you will do

• Hire, coach, develop, and manage a high-performing infrastructure engineering team.
• Own the roadmap for cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and reliability initiatives.
• Design, build, operate, and scale secure, resilient, and highly available cloud platforms.
• Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operations.
• Establish practices for reliability, observability, incident response, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
• Partner with engineering teams on deployment pipelines, production readiness, architecture decisions, SLAs/SLOs, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing and developing software engineers.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and release engineering.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and distributed systems architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi, and strong Kubernetes expertise.
• Experience designing for high availability, fault tolerance, operational resilience, observability, and incident management.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or Java, with solid software engineering fundamentals and strong communication skills.
