What you will do
- Deploy, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade systems across 20+ proprietary gaming applications.
- Support Windows Server, Enterprise Linux, SQL Server, Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, Hyper-V, SAN, and enterprise networking environments.
- Configure network hardware, load balancers, shared storage, and end-to-end hardware and software integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex installation, upgrade, integration, and infrastructure issues to deliver reliable technical outcomes.
- Build relationships with internal engineering teams and external customer stakeholders.
- Take ownership of assigned Support Systems Engineer tasks and grow toward Lead Systems Engineer responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems installation, maintenance, upgrades, network security, or network technologies.
- Strong SQL Server deployment and administration experience, including Transact-SQL.
- Experience with Windows Server, Enterprise Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, Hyper-V, and SAN administration.
- Experience configuring enterprise network hardware and physical or virtual load balancers.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Microsoft, VMware, networking, or SAN certifications.
- Familiarity with CMDB and ITIL practices.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, VBScript, or JavaScript.
