System Administrator (VMware/Linux): Configuring, implementing, and maintaining servers, systems, and applications supporting corporate and manufacturing operations with an accent on VMware, Linux, Microsoft technologies, compute, backup, storage, and networking. Focus on monitoring production environments, automating repetitive tasks, analyzing system performance, and maintaining reliable infrastructure across concurrent projects.
Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; hybrid arrangement with on-site work at an office 2–3 days per week

What you will do
- Configure, implement, maintain, and support servers, systems, and applications for corporate and manufacturing operations.
- Manage VMware, Linux, and Microsoft Windows systems in a production data center environment.
- Monitor operating system and application performance and report findings.
- Handle ServiceNow support tickets and maintain optimal system and end-user performance.
- Maintain and repair infrastructure components, coordinating with vendors to support service availability.
- Recommend evidence-based infrastructure changes, automate repetitive tasks, and complete required maintenance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Microsoft Windows and/or Linux system administration experience, including Windows Server versions since 2012.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL Server, VMware installation and maintenance, data backup, retention, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Experience managing Windows and Linux servers in a production data center environment.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation procedures.
- Understanding of networking technologies and their impact on servers and automated manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with the ability to prioritize problems, communicate requirements, and manage concurrent projects.
Nice to have
- ServiceNow experience.
- Experience in validated medical devices or FDA-regulated operations.
- Knowledge of NIST, CIS, and ISO security frameworks.
