Solutions Architect

Salary: $135,200–$236,600 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Design end-to-end solution and reference architectures covering applications, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data, identity, and security.
• Translate business capabilities and requirements into secure, scalable, resilient, and reusable technology solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across multiple sourcing and contracting products and guide engineering teams through solution design and delivery.
• Establish architecture standards, shared services, engineering practices, and reference implementations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proofs of concept to accelerate adoption.
• Provide technical governance, mentor engineering teams, and drive the long-term evolution of the platforms.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale, cloud-native, distributed systems using Microsoft Azure; comparable AWS architecture experience may be considered.
• Strong experience with application architecture, API design, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, identity, authentication, authorization, and modern security architecture principles.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud integration services.

Nice to have

• Relevant degree.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, or Contract Lifecycle Management.
• Cloud architecture or industry certifications.
