Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $213,000 – $255,000

What you will do

• Lead, hire, and mentor a team of machine learning and software engineers.
• Stay technically hands-on as a player-coach, contributing to design reviews and critical path development.
• Set technical direction and headcount investment strategy in partnership with technical leads.
• Develop annotation tooling, active learning loops, and synthetic data augmentation strategies.
• Ensure team engagement, career growth, and high-quality production deployments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual (ITAR compliance).
• 2-5+ years of engineering management experience leading production machine learning teams.
• Strong technical depth in machine learning, computer vision, or data engineering.
• Experience shipping models to production and managing endpoint health.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and industrial automation.
