AI Engineer (MedTech)

Location: On-site in New York, USA

Salary: $120,000 – $210,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Implement novel machine learning models for self-supervised learning, survival analysis, and causality.
• Translate research papers into production-ready code and build robust evaluation frameworks.
• Develop data preprocessing, integration, and quality assurance pipelines.
• Optimize code for efficient execution on GPU clusters.
• Deploy machine learning models to the cloud in optimized inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and co-author research papers.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Statistics.
• Excellent understanding of core machine learning, statistics, linear algebra, and probability.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture, parallel training, and GPU optimization.
• Experience in deep learning.
• Ability to drive tasks to completion with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in self-supervised learning, survival analysis, multi-modal learning, or computational pathology.
• Prior publications in A* conferences such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, or CVPR.
