Member of Technical Staff (AI)

Location: In person in Flatiron, New York City, 5 days a week

Salary: $100K–$300K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Design and build production AI agents, agent platforms, and product systems.
• Develop context ontologies, tool designs, harnesses, and evaluation systems.
• Build data pipelines that hydrate agent state with accurate, low-latency external data.
• Work across product engineering, infrastructure, agent data, and internal AI systems.
• Improve monorepo ergonomics and verification workflows for coding agents.
• Own projects from first-principles problem decomposition through reliable delivery.

Requirements

• Strong first-principles reasoning and systems thinking for novel technical problems.
• Ability to understand data systems, operational workflows, and the domain in which agents work.
• Interest in applying AI agents to real-economy problems.
• Willingness to work onsite in Flatiron, NYC five days per week.
• Comfort working across engineering, infrastructure, product, machine learning, and agent systems.
