Compliance Manager (Hong Kong)

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with SFC and HKEX rules for Type 1 and Type 2 regulated activities.
• Monitor regulatory and exchange developments in Hong Kong and China Connect markets.
• Interpret new rules, educate colleagues, and update policies and procedures.
• Create and implement the Hong Kong compliance program and monitoring plan.
• Manage regulatory and exchange filings and liaise with SFC and HKEX officials.
• Perform market conduct monitoring, trade surveillance, communication reviews, and trade execution reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, quantitative finance, risk, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant financial services experience in Hong Kong, within a compliance department or with the SFC.
• Deep knowledge of Hong Kong SFC and HKEX regulations for dealing in securities and futures.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
• Reliable, organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
• Cantonese speaking ability and fluent English are required.

Nice to have

• VBA, SQL, or Python skills.
• Familiarity with surveillance products.
