Manager, Compliance Governance (Fintech)

What you will do

• Prepare and implement the annual compliance plan and maintain the regulatory inventory.
• Assess regulatory developments and their impact on business activities.
• Identify compliance risks, conduct risk assessments and assurance reviews, and escalate breaches and conduct issues.
• Develop and maintain governance, quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Conduct audits and assessments, prepare regulatory submissions, and manage enquiries, inspections, and audits from regulatory authorities.
• Review policies and procedures, provide compliance training, and promote a strong compliance culture.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 8 years of legal or compliance experience; in-house banking and regulatory engagement experience is advantageous.
• Experience with risk assessment, governance and oversight, and regulatory reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of banking, securities, and financial services laws and regulations, compliance best practices, financial products, and business operations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and make and defend complex regulatory compliance decisions.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese are required.
