Regulatory Quant & Intelligence Specialist (Regulatory Compliance)

What you will do

• Translate legislation, regulatory guidance, and internal policies into structured decision frameworks, rule sets, scoring models, thresholds, and escalation triggers.
• Design and prototype AI-powered workflows for regulatory research, licensing analysis, policy drafting, onboarding/KYC, surveillance, and incident management.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to implement LLM, RAG, agentic, and data-driven compliance workflows with documentation and audit trails.
• Build quantitative models and evaluation frameworks for regulatory risk, scenario outcomes, enforcement impact, and automated decision quality.
• Research regulatory developments across Singapore, the EU/EEA, the UK, Australia, and the Middle East, converting them into machine-readable rules and internal playbooks.
• Document model assumptions, limitations, and human-in-the-loop controls while partnering with Legal, Product, Engineering, regulators, auditors, and risk committees.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, financial services law, or a related role in a financial institution, crypto/fintech firm, trading venue, or regulator.
• Strong understanding of financial services and VASP regulation, licensing frameworks, and cross-border regimes including MAS, AUSTRAC, FCA, MiCAR, and ADGM.
• Ability to build structured, technology-supported legal or compliance workflows using Python, scripting, or no-code/low-code platforms.
• Experience with LLMs, APIs, workflow orchestration, data or analytics platforms, prompt iteration, retrieval strategies, and evaluation metrics.
• Strong analytical and computational thinking, with the ability to formalise complex regulatory reasoning into models, diagrams, and structured guidance.
• Excellent communication, professional judgement, integrity, and ownership in fast-moving regulatory environments.
