What you will do

• Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and communicate demand to suppliers.
• Coordinate materials core teams and product development deliverables across buyers, planners, production control, and engineering.
• Create, release, and update materials strategies and execute commercialization transition plans.
• Support supplier selection, price and delivery negotiations, contract activities, risk assessments, and performance monitoring.
• Manage materials change control, cost targets, total landed cost indicators, and supplier quality resolution.
• Identify critical and long-lead parts, inspection requirements, supplier road maps, and value-analysis opportunities.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in materials or a related discipline, with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Knowledge of best practices and how materials and supply chain functions integrate with other business areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to build consensus and explain difficult or sensitive information.
• Availability for business travel up to 10% of the time.
• Relocation is not available for this position.
